Keep your private parts out of our public pools.
Recently, a dispute has been raised in B.C. about the use of the Newton Wave Pool. The nudist group of Greater Vancouver, Skinnydipper Services, would like to regain use of this facility. The story recently appeared in the Surrey Leader and the dispute has been taken to court. In 2002, the group of 400 monthly rented the Newton Wave Pool for a nude swim. In May 2003, the events stopped due to the attention brought to the group by an article in The Leader and the City of Surrey creating a rule that "proper attire" must be worn in public pools. The city refused to negotiate the problem. I extremely disagree with this group. In The Bible, the second Adam and Eve sinned, they were ashamed of their bodies and they realized that they were naked. This just shows that we ARE supposed to keep our private parts private parts. It's also kind of a put off when you know that there's been old men swimming nude in the pool the night before. Personally, I'm against the whole idea of a nudist group. Sure you can be unashamed of your body but please be unashamed to yourself.

You young people...all you do is complain...we have this right!
Hear hear! Aw, dang. Now I'll never be able to go into a pool again without casting dubious glances at the water...
