Van(dalized)
On Saturday at 8:00 am, five of the youth, Kim, my youth leader, and I all got into a van to raise money for a youth conference in Seattle, Dare 2 Share. We started at IHOP on #10 we stayed there for 2 hours and collected money. Then we moved on to the front of the Willowbrook Mall. There, we didn't raise too much money and got kicked out after an hour by a grumpy unnamed security guard. Then we moved on and went to Extra Foods where we met my mom. She gave us $20 and snacks. We parked by the buggies so people could give us loonies. Smart, eh? After about another hour, the manager came out and asked us where our papers were to say we could be there. At least he was nice about it unlike Grumpy Magoo, the mall security guard. So we went for lunch at Wendy's/McDonald's. I asked for add bacon on my Toasted Deli Sandwich but NOOOOO! Why would they add bacon for the stupid customer? Anyways, after that, we went to one of the Daniel's houses to get his pillows for the night and headed to Wal-Mart. When we got to Wal-Mart, Kim's friend Amy gave her her lunch. So we go outside Wal-Mart for about 10 minutes before realizing that that location was unsuccessful. Off we went to Efads where my sister brought us games and puzzle books and my iPod that I'm so very fond of. So we raised a little and a lot there. We got a bit of change from the pedestrians and $100 from my dad letting us reach the goal of $450. We discussed it and extended our reach to the stars above (a.k.a., $650). So we leave and go to the Future Shop/Michael's area. We raise a bit of money and leave to go to White Spot and Collosus. There, we finally get $650. So to celebrate, we go to Boston Pizza. It felt so weird getting out of the van finally. So after that we went to Roger's Video to rent "Just My Luck". We got back to the church at 9 pm and finished the movie at midnight. We finally got to bed but not to sleep. When we got up, we went into the van to raise money for the Haiti mission then went to church.

Golf Plans with Jenna
A full on Golf day plan spawned from me asking Jenna how her day was. Let's see how this unfolds!:
†Kory†:
How was your day
jenna:
good, how was yours?"
†Kory†:
it was cool. I went to the driving range with my dad
jenna:
ooh that's sounds fun
†Kory†:
it was
†Kory†:
except I sucked
jenna:
ahahhaa I'd suck too
†Kory†:
WE SHOULD GO ONE DAY
jenna:
AND WEAR PLAID.
jenna:
golf clothes
†Kory†:
YES!
†Kory†:
I'm trying to see you in full out plaid. Hat and all
jenna:
I'll have the polo shirt, i already have plaid pants
†Kory†:
YES! WE HAVE TO DO IT!
†Kory†:
and we have to act all pro, too
jenna:
uhm YES.
jenna:
hahaha
†Kory†:
BRING TEA!
jenna:
I'll be like "yes.. the wind is blowing south at 13 miles per hour, so i must shoot the ball at a 40 degree angle to get the best possible velocity.. hmmm. yes." and then I'll stroke my chin
†Kory†:
YES! that is the best anecdote I've ever heard
jenna:
i thought so
†Kory†:
but then we have to laugh any time someone says balls
jenna:
AHAHAHHAHAHA
jenna:
YES
jenna:
quietly giggle
†Kory†:
lol
†Kory†:
then when we do a bad shot we have to try to break our clubs but fail
jenna:
AHAHHA
jenna:
snap them over our knees
†Kory†:
but just end up hurting our knees
jenna:
and then yell about how our knees hurt
†Kory:
I am seriously laughing loudly
jenna:
ahahahha me too
†Kory:
It's funny because there's signs that say please be quiet
jenna:
AHAHA yea and we're gonna be realllly loud
†Kory:
then we go inside and demand a refund because "our visit was not to our satisfaction. We were cold, our balls were wet and that made our hands cold and we did NOT appreciate the man beside us with the stuffy nose!"
jenna:
ahahahhahahahaha
jenna:
our balls were wet.

Waiting for a phone call is more exasperating than applying
So ANYWAYS, My friend Stephanie and I decided that we were going to apply together at HMV. She couldn't do it whenever I could so she told me to go on my own. So today I ventured off from home to the Willowbrook Mall. On my way there, I met five of my friends: Caroline, Caitlyn, Sarah, Gina and a girl who's name eludes me at the moment. So I got a lucky nickle and penny from them and many hugs. That was cool. So onwards I went. I get into the mall and my heart starts racing. I realize that this has potential to be embarassing. I get to HMV and a Fall Out Boy poster greets me. I walk inside and the only man at the desk is helping someone else. So I look around like a pathetic loser looking for a friend. Then a woman sees this pathetic loser and goes to help him. He hands her his resume and she says "Okay, I think we have a quiz to fill out." And wadaya know! She did, lucky me. I felt like I was in school and suddenly it felt like someone turned up the heat. It wasn't too hard but it was just the fact that I didn't know some of the artists. I did my best and handed in the 16 mark quiz and left. Then, I go to Rogers Video where my extremely supportive brother is working and tell him I applied. He says "why did you apply at HMV? You couldn't even work at McDonalds." (I had quit from McDonalds in November of last year). I then continued to explain to him that my schedule got too busy to work there anymore. Then I asked him where my mom was and he pointed me to Safeway. The rest of the story is completely irrelivant to the other half so I'll leave you with that. To sum up the rest, we went to Extra Foods. Woot.

The Worst "Best" Holiday EVER!
Today is Valentine's Day as you may or may not know and it's supposed to be a joyous day. It's not. First, I get a Science Timeline that's due the next day but it's going to take me way longer than that. THEN I have no Valentine to share this day with. THEN I have a Spanish test which I got 28/40 on because I didn't have the best Spanish "educator" last year. THEN it pours with rain. The only thing that could have cheered me up was getting a Candygram in calss but, NO! Of course not. Who cares about KORY!? NO ONE. I gotta get back to class.

Crazy Teachers.
So far I have two teachers that have gotten me to do a "get-to-know-you" assignment. Both I spent a lot of time preparing for and doing. One thing I don't like which I had to do for one assignment is brainstorming on paper. It's annoying. I know what I'm thinking, I don't need to write it down unless it's the end product.
I enjoy writing about myself but... yeah I'm too modest to write too much about me. That last sentance even took a lot out of me. And that one. And that one. And... you get the point. So anyways, these essays had killer opening paragraphs.
One was:
As you may or may not know, but I hope whoever is reading this does otherwise that’s really creepy, my name is Kory Cudmore. I was born in Peace Arch Hospital on 08/08/91. As I grew up, I realized: “Hey there are these people who are constantly in my house.” Let me introduce you to them.
And the other one was:
When I was -1 day old, my mom was rushed to Peace Arch Hospital. Then on August 8 1991, the world got a little brighter, the trees opened their eyes for the first and only time and the angels broke out into a chorus of Ode To Joy as I was born. I lay there screaming as if to eject a lung. They weighed me in at nine pounds, eleven ounces. For that I apologise to my mom. I, then was brought home to be admired and gawked at by the rest of my relatives. It was love at first sight for anyone who met me followed quickly by rejection

TRAGEDY
On the 8th of January, a tragedy occurred and sadly there were only two survivors. As maybe some of you but probably none of you have guessed, I am talking about the declaration of Amy Lee's engagement. So far she seems happy and there is no chance of separation. However, I will persist in my determination to meet her and possibly marry her and have children in a beach-side property somewhere in Europe. There is no news on the location of the wedding or even the date. Upon further announcement of these details, I shall pursue the wedding in hopes of following the Shrek tradition and barging into the wedding right after the questioning of if anyone has any disagreements and yelling "I OBJECT!" stopping the entire wedding to an awkward silence (sadly) and thus, saving the day. And Amy and Kory Cudmore will live happily ever after.

The war between the movies
In the past 6 hours I have watched 2 movies with one plot line: The Prestige & The Illusionist. One surpasses the other. You would think it's The Prestige considering its "rave reviews" and fancy-pants name but no, The Illusionist was way better. I found The Prestige violent and hard to follow. They killed the birds! There was like 7 or 8 birds KILLED in this film. Even worse there was way more people killed. In The Illusionist, I loved it, NO BIRDS DIED and I understood it unlike in The flippin' Prestige.
